He is a popular face of big advertisements like Sony Ericsson, Skoda, Activia, Airtel, Dairy Milk, Eva Deodorant, Only Vimal Reid & Taylor (with Amitabh Bachchan), Kawasaki Bajaj etc. Kushal tandon has also done the ramp shows and seen on fashion shows like Lakme Fashion Week, shows for Provogue, Spykar, Giodarno etc. At the age of 22, he was the runner up of Mr India 2005. After doing many ramp shows, he is now seen as Virat Singh Vadhera in a show Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai aired on Star Plus opposite Nia Sharma .
