Big FM H2 posts operating profit of Rs 23 mn
Big FM, Reliance Broadcast Network’s (RBNL) FM radio business, has posted an operating profit of Rs 23.13 million for the six-month period ended 31 March 2011.
In the trailing six-month period, the radio segment had suffered an operating loss of Rs 97.1 million.
During the quarter under review, the radio business revenue stood at Rs 955.86 million, up 20.43 per cent sequentially (Rs 793.72 million in six-month ended 30 September).
As of 31 March, RBNL has deployed a capital of Rs 2.61 billion on the radio segment.Meanwhile, on a consolidated basis, RBNL has posted a net loss of Rs 242.45 million for the half year ended 31 March. Total incomestood at Rs 1.37 billion, while expenses were at Rs 1.62 billion.From the outdoor...

It’s hard to say today who is a good actor. Because there are so many actors today and they all do not come from an acting background. I wonder at the age of 19 how did they become an actor? But ok that’s not my problem. But I guess I have watched Sasural Genda Phool and really like the leading lady Suhana (Ragini Khanna). She is a good actress. But I hardly get time to watch tv.
