SRK stays away from KKR-MI clash!

Although the Kolkata Knight Riders have failed to secure their berth in the top three slots of this year's edition...

Although the Kolkata Knight Riders have failed to secure their berth in the top three slots of this year's edition of the IPL, they have, for the first time in three years, of the Indian Premier League, managed to make their place in the first four quite remarkably.

Team owner Shah Rukh Khan, who has been seen egging his team on from the stands of almost every stadium across the country throughout the tournament, decided to forsake witnessing Wednesday's match in live action. Knowing yesterday's attempt would have been the last one for the team to make it to the final, SRK was said to have been naturally quite tensed about his team's clash with the mighty Mumbai Indians, and therefore chose to watch the game from home instead. Like always, he invited over his Bollywood mates cum KKR supporters to witness the clash. We hear filmmaker Karan Johar, who was invited as well, celebrated his 39th birthday at SRK's residence last night.

With Kolkata putting up a poor contest last night, therefore letting themselves to be evicted from the contest, SRK sure has saved himself some humiliation by not being present at the stadium.

Well, all we can do is praise KKR for their effort this time around, although not enough, and wish SRK the very best for next year!
